panglipuran village is one of the many tours in bali. many
tourists only know bali's attractions in a monotone that beaches and other
natural attractions. Basically the bali tourist object enjoys not only a beach
or natural attractions, but also the culture of the bali tourism is very strong
and we should visit. There are houses which still lumpy in bali culture. This
village has been awarded the award of kalpataru. Kalpataru award Is given to
individuals or groups for their contributions in preserving the environment in
Indonesia. Kalpataru is Sanskrit, meaning tree of life. local people mostly
among adults and elderly. We were there was welcomed by the Chairman of the
village. We were greeted by a friendly, given knowledge of the village. the
village is upholding fraternity and concord. We were also told about the
arrangement of the village holds fast to the adat rules. some people there have
a work that welcomes tourists with selling drinks "Loh loh cem cem"
and "klepon ungu". Loh loh cem cem made from loh loh plants are
boiled then taken which could be summarised. This drink will be fresher when
plus ice cubes. If you want to travel to this village, it's good you're visiting
on the day of Galungan or after hari raya galungan. Hari raya Galungan is a
feast of Hinduism in bali which is commemorated every 6 months. When that day,
you'll see jejeran penjor (means of Hindus is a long bamboo tree with decorated
edges and plugged in the front yard House) that adorn every house in the
village. There will be girls dressed in traditional Balinese bali bring banten
to the temple. Physical setup of this village already inherited hereditary by
their ancestors, people in the village of penglipuran has always held the firm
philosophy of bali called "falsafas Tri Hitakarana" . This philosophy
teaches us to always be harmony in the relationship between human and his
fellow, human with the environment and human with God.
